Who we are

This website is operated by Synnova Business Services Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 07485358). Our registered office is Suite 6 Norfolk House, Williamsport Way, Needham Market, Suffolk, IP6 8RW. “Synnova” is a trading name of Synnova Business Services Ltd, part of the Synnova Group. For the purposes of UK data-protection law, Synnova Business Services Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this site.

What we collect

The only personal data this site collects is what you choose to submit through our enquiry form: your name, your email address, your company name (optional), the type of enquiry, and your message.

We do not use cookies, and nothing about your visit is recorded against you as an individual. The anonymous usage counting we do is described under Website analytics below.

Website analytics

We collect limited statistics about how this website is used so that we can understand and improve it. We count page views, measure how long a page is actually on screen, and record a broad device type (desktop, mobile or tablet). That is the full list. We do not collect location: not country, not city, nothing derived from your IP address.

We do not use analytics cookies. We do not create visitor or session identifiers, recognise returning visitors, build profiles, record browsing histories, or track people between pages, browsers, devices or websites. Because we never identify anyone, we can count views, but not visitors.

Like any web server, ours necessarily receives an IP address and browser information with each request. We do not use the IP address for analytics at all. The browser information is used only momentarily, in memory, to classify the device type, then discarded, not stored and not logged. No individual analytics event is kept: each one is added to daily totals and dropped. The processing pipeline retains short-lived operational records for up to seven days with their content hidden; they contain no IP addresses and no browser details.

We rely on the statistical-purposes exception in Schedule A1, paragraph 5 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 for this collection. To the extent the momentary processing involves personal data, our basis is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the website.

You can object at any time using the switch at the bottom of this page. If you turn analytics off, this browser stores only the fact that analytics are disabled. That preference is not an identifier and is never sent to us, and it applies only in this browser, because following you across browsers or devices is exactly what we do not do.

How we use your details

We use the details you submit for one purpose: to read and respond to your enquiry. Enquiries are delivered by email to our team. We will not add you to a marketing list, and we will not share or sell your details to anyone.

Our website and email run on Microsoft Azure, so the information you submit is processed by our hosting infrastructure in the course of being delivered to us.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as is needed to handle your enquiry and any business relationship that follows from it. If you would like your details deleted, ask and we will delete them.

Your rights

Under UK data-protection law you have rights over your personal data, including the right to access it, correct it, and have it deleted. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@synnova.uk. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies, which is why you have not been asked to accept anything. The only measurement we do is the anonymous, aggregate counting described under Website analytics above; it identifies nobody and can be switched off below. If we ever wanted to do more than that, we would update this policy and ask for your consent first, and the default answer would be no.

Changes to this policy

If we change how this site handles personal data, we will update this page at the same time. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
