How the retainer works
Most businesses do not need a full-time anything. They need a fraction of several specialists: a data engineer this month, a database expert next, cloud and automation in between. That is what the retainer is, on one predictable monthly fee.
Choose how many tasks run at once. One fixed fee, nothing to recruit or negotiate.
Queue as many requests as you like: features, fixes, pipelines, automations, cloud work.
An experienced team works your active tasks, keeps you posted, and starts the next when each is done.
Keep the queue moving as long as it is useful, or stop at the end of any billing period.
Why us
Most of the industry chases profit first and outcomes second. We think it runs the other way round: get the thing right, and everything else follows.
The tools that transform how an organisation works should not carry a price tag only enterprises can sign off. Not rationed to the ones big enough to buy it.
Priced fairly because that is right, not priced high because we can. We set out to prove it, and the proof is that we are still here.
Every site, warehouse and app burns energy to run. Hardware and bandwidth got cheap and a lot of the industry got sloppy with both. We love what technology can do. It just should not cost the climate to do it, and the answer is not to switch it off. The two can coexist. We only have to stop being lazy.

Where our heart is
Where we learned our craft and our standards. Data and systems that clinicians and administrators depend on, built to be secure and accurate by default.
Places doing important work on tight budgets, usually stitched together from tools that were never designed for them. We think that can be much better.
The most under-served group in software. They need the same quality as everyone else, without the enterprise price tag or the features nobody asked for.
Over the years that has meant the health service and the ambulance service, GP practices and medical practices on small islands, community interest companies and charities, alongside the businesses we build for every day.
